Government Covid-19 guidance
During this pandemic, it is vital that all centre users abide by the official guidance relating to keeping their activity safe. This involves not only maintaining observance of the current general social safety guidance, but also being up to date with government guidance for the specific activity, and creating (and adhering to) a Covid Risk Assessment document for the given activity.
Centre users are required to also adhere to the building's Covid safety plan, and be extra dilligent in keeping the centre clean, neat, and safe.
Please be aware that in the event of a lockdown or tightened official restrictions, centre hire may be suspended at short notice, during this time. Regular time slots for groups will be retained, and will be available for that group once current restrictions allow them to return.
As there is a great deal of confusion for people in the media, about what they can and cannot do, (and guidance often changes); the links below are those government, and government-reccomended, guidance documents for specific activities.
You may also wish to contact the Health & Safety Executive, relevant trade unions or governing bodies for your organisation, for additional assistance.
It is a legal requirement that the leaders of all groups, ensure the safety of their members and other building users in line with the relevant guidance below.
COVID-19: Guidance for the safe use of multi-purpose community facilities
COVID-19 guidance for voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations
