Hiring Chestnut Community Centre
Due the Covid-19 pandemic, the centre is only available for limited use, in line with goverment guidance, for specific activities.
In the event of a lockdown, the need to deep-clean the centre if a user has contracted Covid, or other related emergency, bookings may need to be terminated at short notice during this time of global emergency. Any hire fees would be refunded.

This friendly community centre has two rooms for hire, at very reasonable rates, from as low as £10 per morning, afternoon, or evening for regular usergroups, or £30 plus cleaning deposit, for one-off or social events. If you would like to hire the centre for either regular or one-off events, please get in touch. The centre is also licensed for weddings and blessings, as a place of worship.
The centre boasts upstairs and downstairs toilets and kitchen facilities, disabled access to downstairs, and, if a regular weekly group wishes to use the centre, a limited number of lockable store cupboards may be available for equipment (subject to availbility) All users are required to keep the centre clean & tidy, and to leave the space immaculate for the next people to use the space. Hirers will need to download and fill out these forms.
They can be printed out and returned via the centre, or sent to the booking secretary on email. During Covid, all users are required to also submit a Covid risk assessment in line with government legislation for their activity, including precise numbers, and evidencing distancing, sanitisation, etc.
The centre also has a risk mitigation policy for Covid,
which must be adhered to by all users and visitors.

Downstairs function room
This large function room is on the ground floor. It has disabled access though a side door, as well as a small kitchenette with kettles, access to the disabled toilet, and a store of tables and chairs ideal for use in meetings. It also has a stone floor ideal for childrens events, or craft activities. |
